Montana Art & Framing: Atelier
I’m looking forward to this exhibition with several of my private students in painting and drawing of the past two years. The Thursday Artists’ Working Group, including Julie Chaffee, Mamie Colburn, Teresa Garland Warner, Becki Johnson, and Elene Weege will figure prominently in this group show. Inspired by the Zeuxis Group of painters, we have chosen the Common Object of a basket to work with in some of our individual images. The paintings and drawings on view will be as diverse as the artists participating.

Both “Windrows” and “Furrow” will be on exhibition at Davidson Galleries in Seattle during December 2011 & January 2012.
“Wading Out” will be included in the Paris Gibson Square Museum of Art Auction on February 4th, 2012. An exhibition of auction work begins at the museum on January 12th. www.the-square.org
“The New Well” has been chosen for the Missoula Art Museum’s 40th Annual Benefit Auction on February 4th, 2012. An exhibition of the art work will open at MAM on January 6th. www.missoulaartmuseum.org
